The Ukrainian Svita Vechera is a traditional meal celebrated by families on Eve of the Nativity Feast(Christmas Eve). It is expression of thanksgiving,and reminder of how the lives of the people are sanctified by the living God.

I took part in the Holy Supper Jan,6th at St.Jude Ukrainian Orthodox Mission in Tokyo.

I ate 12 these traditional dishes. It reminded me days in Ukraine.
